Phelps is the author of the book Vatican Assassins. It's a detailed and exhaustive account of the role of the Vatican, the Papacy and in particular the Jesuit Order, in world affairs. In essence, Phelps points the finger at Rome as being the apex of the 'New World Order' pyramid and the driving force behind it. The evidence he provides is largely very good although some of his assertions appear to be based on little evidence. It seems clear that the Vatican is, at the very least, an important player in the 'New World Order' if not the controlling force. The point of this post isn't to review his book, or the evidence he provides within it, but to to investigate its publishers and their connections to a new age magazine called 'Spectrum'.
Eric certainly portrays himself as what could only be described as a devout Christian. He was a regular commenter on a UK based forum called the Unhived Mind where his contributions were more often than not heavily laced with Biblical quotes and verses. He even goes as far to promote the idea of seceding from the United States and creating a white only Christian nation called 'ProBaptical'. His exposure of the Vatican and the Papacy is very much from his perspective as a Bible believing Protestant Christian. It's the disconnect between Phelps' ardent Christian beliefs and the nature of his book publishers and distributors we'll be looking at in the rest of this article.
This story really begins with a thread on the Unhived Mind forum that developed into a fairly heated debate regarding the relative merits of the King James AV1611 Bible and the earlier Geneva Bible. Another contributor to the forum, Soulinspiration, was of the opinion that King James was a puppet of papal forces and as such the AV1611 was inferior to the Geneva Bible of the early Protestant reformers. As appears fairly typical with anyone who falls foul of Eric Phelps, this caused him to accuse 'Soulinspiration' of being a Jesuit temporal coadjutor (someone who, although not wearing the Jesuit robe and collar, still works for the benefit of the order). It was a ridiculous claim that resulted in Soulinspiration replying in kind by asking some pertinent questions about the publishers of Eric's book and their links to the previously mentioned 'new age' magazine called Spectrum. Almost immediately, the whole thread was deleted and Soulinspiration banned. A great deal of the deleted thread can be found at this site. I responded to the deletion by asking why it had happened on another thread. This was also deleted. I tried again and was deleted a second time. This both puzzled and incensed me to the extent that I contacted Soulinspiration, who I knew to be Troy Space of Reality Research Resource. From then on I remained on Troy's email list and we stayed in contact.
second 'Conspiracy Con' in 2002 along with, amongst others, Anthony Hilder and Ted Gunderson, both of whom gave cause for concern in a previous post. It seems that 'special guest' Jordan Maxwell was there to 'introduce Eric Jon Phelps'. That would have been after Maxwell had appeared as a speaker the year before, at the first 'Con', alongside David Icke. Phelps had appeared at the eighth 'Conspiracy Con' as well.
This prompted me to do some digging for myself. Looking at the 'about us' section of the 'Con Con' site, it seemed that the main organiser was a Brian Hall who was:
"… introduced to the subject of UFOs and government cover-ups in the early 1990's, Brian began avidly researching these and related topics himself. Shortly thereafter, the esoteric teachings in the 'Flower of Life' information played a major role in his search for the 'big picture.'"
A quick search for the 'Flower of Life' pointed to an organisation 'inspired by' a 'Drunvalo Melchizedek' (born Bernard Perona in 1941) 'who studied at 'the Alpha and Omega Order of Melchizedek in Vancouver, Canada.' A look at the website will soon give you a flavour of what it's all about with the most noticeable thing being the Egyptian imagery throughout, including the inevitable 'Eye of Horus' on some pages. A little more searching revealed that Drunvalo is a fully paid up member of the 2012 consciousness shift/evolution of humanity deception. He's even written a book on the subject called 'Serpent of Light: Beyond 2012'. Here we can see some of the same common themes, prevalent throughout the 2012 and New Age movements, as well as with many in the anti-NWO 'Truth' movement, repeating themselves yet again.
Eric could perhaps have been forgiven for not knowing everything about the organisers of 'Con Con' but I'm far from sure the same can be said about the publishers of his book. Troy had already discovered that they were a company called Halcyon Unified Services. Not only was there very little information on them it seemed that Vatican Assassins was the only book they'd published. There was plenty of evidence showing that Halcyon and Spectrum were both linked and run by the same people. Rick Cortright's Linkedin profile describes him as both 'general partner' at Halcyon Unified Services and 'journalist/editor/publisher' at Spectrum.

In the same issue as the interview there is a 'message' (on page 43) from 'Violino St. Germain' and 'Esu 'Jesus' Sananda'. It was entitled 'The Time Has Come To Awaken From Your Dream' and is full of some of the familiar New Age/2012 mind control 'psychobabble'. Elsewhere throughout other issues of Spectrum there are similar messages from 'ascended masters and teachers'. Perhaps the most prominent being those of Hatonn. There were several magazines prior to Spectrum that carried messages from Hatonn. From the Phoenix Archives we can learn a little more about 'him'.
"I am Gyeorgos Ceres Hatonn, Commander in Chief, Earth Project Transition, Pleiades Sector Flight command, Intergalactic Federation Fleet-Ashtar Command; Earth Representative to the Cosmic Council and Intergalactic Federation Council on Earth Transition. You may call me "Hatonn".
'Let there be no misunderstanding of WHO I AM! I come in this portion as a fourth dimensional Project Commander in charge of Earth Transition. As this is most thoroughly explained in other recordings from myself and others, I shall not cover it in this document.
This document contains truth which can be validated. It comes forth in dictated format from myself to one of my transreceivers (sic)(recorder). There is nothing of "channeling" about it--it is via actual radio-type short-wave directly from my sorce (sic) into a receiver terminal. No hocus pocus nor mystical hoopla. This recorder does exactly that--records. She is not privy to the information resources nor is she given to "interpretation" other than as any other reader would personally interpret.
We of the lighted brotherhood of the Cosmic and Galactic participants are ready to make our presence upon your place. We travel and act in the direct service and under Command of Esu Jesus Immanuel Sananda. Sananda is aboard my Command Craft from whence He will direct all evacuation and transition activities as regards the period you ones call the End Prophecies of Armageddon.
He has organized placement for His peoples and will oversee all operations as regards His people. All Intergalactic Fleets are under His command, and for purposes of evacuation, those details are in most capable hands of one called, simply, Commander Ashtar."
Sananda material we are given 'absolute clarification of the numerous falsifications, misrepresentations, lies and misconceptions concerning that time period and Jesus’ teachings'. This can be pretty much summed up as the Bible is wrong. It's hard to think of anything that would be more troublesome to the sort of true Christian Eric Phelps professes to be.
Just below the 'message' from Esu 'Jesus' Sananda in the same issue of Spectrum as the Eric Phelps interview there is an advert for two books entitled 'The Wisdom Of the Rays: The Masters Teach', volumes one and two. On the website for these books we discover that they contain the collected 'channelled spiritual messages' of these 'ascended masters' from the various Phoenix and Spectrum magazines, as well as a previous magazine called Contact. This includes many messages from Hatonn and Esu 'Jesus' Sananda. In the advert there is an excerpt from the back cover of the first volume. Its states:
"Our Elder Brothers from the Higher Realms of Creation are attempting to communicate with ALL of us at this time. Why? Take a look around you. The old ways of doing things aren't working. Our planet is entering a time of massive, turbulent change and renewal. To put it bluntly: we NEED help! And that's where this book comes into the picture. Yes, eventually “the Phoenix will arise from the ashes” after this Great Cleansing process, but the ride could be a bumpy one, especially for those ill-prepared for what is to happen.
Just how we choose to deal with such change is THE question each of us must confront. Yet confusion swirls everywhere upon Earth at this time. And restless searchers cry out for that which may help them cope with the truly challenging times ahead. Thus these messages courtesy of our most loving Elder Brothers from the Higher Realms of Creation who are but further along the same spiritual path we all must eventually walk."
The phrase, 'phoenix rising from the ashes (or flames)' is instantly recognisable as pure masonic. On the website for the books there's an additional insight to the broader agenda when we read that the reason why these have been published as a collection is that:
"… one can absorb only so much Dark conspiracy news, no matter how important, without craving some balancing Rays of Sunshine. Because of this continual interest and desire — really a 'spiritual hunger' of sorts — expressed by so many, I most certainly feel responsible for making sure that a forum exists through which to share, as widely as possible, both those cherished spiritual Messages from past years AND any new Messages I am instructed to offer at this time, as the Great Awakening and Great Cleansing continue to unfold, here on planet Earth, with ever more dramatic impact."
Here we see an insight into one of the ways the game is being played. Release a relentless stream of negative, fear inducing, 'conspiracy news', so as to demoralise and disturb, then attempt to offer hope or a solution in the form of the Theosophic/New Age psycho-babble to be found in these (and other) books. At the same time equate the intentional and planned upheavals in the world as some sort of awakening, inevitable change or cleansing process that only our 'Elder Brothers from the Higher Realms of Creation', the Ascended Masters' can help us with. This is pure Theosophy and can be found throughout the New Age movement. As we've seen, a similar modus operandi can be discerned in the activities of David Icke, Ian R Crane and others. The only difference is the source, where they claim to be either spirits from another dimension, Ascended Masters, South American indian prophets or various aliens from other star systems.
Theosophic overtones are evident throughout the Spectrum material. Phelps is more than aware of Theosophy's role in the 'New World Order' and 'New Age', describing Helena Blavatsky as 'wicked' in one of his articles making it even more strange he would be so willingly associated with it.
On the subject of David Icke, Phelps has been one of his most vociferous critics describing him as 'a liar and Masonic agent for the very secret societies he 'exposes''. In scrolling further down the pages of the issue of Spectrum magazine that contains the Eric Phelps interview, we find several adverts for Icke's books and videos. It seemed they could be ordered from a company called Wisdom Books. A brief investigation revealed that the same phone numbers are used for Wisdom Books, Spectrum magazine and Halcyon Unified Services, suggesting common ownership. In fact a look at one of the Wisdom Books order forms shows that a large variety of David Icke material can be ordered from there, as well as Phelps' 'Vatican Assassins and the 'Wisdom of the Rays' volumes one and two mentioned earlier.
Ironically the order form also indicates that you could purchase books by Dr. Len Horowitz. Only recently the internet was ablaze with claim and counter claim as two groups roughly comprising of Horowitz and his 'assistant' Sherri Kane on one side and Eric Phelps, Craig Oxley (of the Unhived Mind mentioned earlier), Ted Gunderson, A. True Ott and others on the opposite side. The 'battle' is too long and complex to explain in full. Needless to say both sides accused each other of being 'cointelpro' or working for the enemy/Illuminati etc. One consequence of it all was that the Unhived Mind forum was taken down. It seems that one of the issues that appeared to contribute to the 'war of words' was a claim by Greg Szymanski and True Ott that Horowitz was a Knight of Malta. A claim which Horowitz denied, only to later admit to being knighted in the 'Sovereign Orthodox Order of the Knights Hospitaller of St. John of Jerusalem'. The Wikipedia page for the 'Knights Hospitaller' suggests that the full name should include, '… of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta.' It also states that the 'Hospitallers' were the original order from which the 'Knights of Malta' sprung. Whether or not the Order that 'knighted' Horowitz (apparently established in New York by Russian nobility headed by Count Nicholas Bobrinskoy [and] under the protection of Prince Andrew, a double Romanoff, the oldest son of the Grand Duke Alexander Mikailovich) is a genuine one is difficult to know for sure. That said both 'sides' appear more than a little questionable and it's quite possible that both are 'cointelpro' or disinformation agents and the whole dispute is a smokescreen designed to create division and uncertainty.
At the very least the rather dubious character of the publishers and distributors of 'Vatican Assassins' raises doubts about Eric Phelps. If it is the case that he isn't what he appears or claims to be, then we can only speculate on the role he's playing. Is there more to him than just being a somewhat 'extreme' and 'austere' figure whose aim is to discredit by association those who expose Rome? Should we discount everything he says regarding the Vatican, Papacy and the Jesuits? Of course not. Even if it turned out that the Vatican wasn't the pinnacle of control they are certainly still an important part of the hydra-headed monster that includes the Talmudic/Sabbatean Jews, 'bloodline royalty and aristocracy, international banksters and occult, masonic, secret societies. That said, evidence for the Vatican being the pinnacle is very strong regardless of Eric Phelps' research.
Some suggest his role is to discredit anti-Vatican research by his controversial views on race. As previously mentioned, Phelps is behind a proposition to create a 'white' only 'Christian' nation he calls 'ProBaptiCal'. He also talks of the African American population as being '80% black savage' (and 20% minority 'civil blacks'). A look at the Amazon review section of 'Vatican Assassins' suggests it's having this effect. A reviewer called Marie Domina states:
"I was going to buy this book and read it UNTIL I found out the author Eric Jon Phelps is a disgusting racist … he is building a cult. What better way to bilk people out of their money than to build a racist church based on fear. He has the nerve to talk of "Christ" and attach him to this disgusting church and views.
MAY HE ROT IN HELL!!"
My 'Tower of Babel' article looked at the important role of mass immigration and multiculturalism in the New World Order and how both Christianity and nationalism were targets of the ruling 'elite'. It seems that Eric Phelps manages to bring both of these things into disrepute with his denigration of 'black' people and suggested 'new nation'.
Phelps is a self confessed trader in Israeli diamonds which has led to some to suspect that his motive for writing 'Vatican Assassins' was as much about providing cover for Zionism as it was exposing the Papacy and Jesuits. Phelps describes himself as a 'Calvinist Christian Zionist' and although the charge may have some merit, it does appear to be a slightly simplistic one for several reasons. That said, Phelps does have a very 'Futurist' interpretation of Biblical prophecy, which is all the more ironic seeing as Futurism is largely based on the writings of the Jesuit, Franciso Ribera. With both Jerusalem and Israel set to play a central role in Their 'end times' plan it seems likely that there will be a great deal of deception surrounding this subject. Phelps' prophetic interpretation is overtly 'Jewish' in nature, even to the extent of claiming that Israel will become the head of all nations who will have to serve Israel or perish. Dissecting the finer points of 'millennialism' is impossible in a short post but it could be that prophetic deception is part of Phelps' role.
There are other possibilities, but to explore them would be, to a large degree, an exercise in nothing other than wild speculation. It's enough to have discovered Eric Phelps' close connection with the Spectrum magazine and Wisdom Books and the part they played in both the publication of his book and his launch as a high profile member of the anti-NWO 'truth' movement. At the very least that alone should make us extremely cautious of Eric Phelps.
